HALL NAMED OUTSTNDING EMPLOYEE OF THE SECOND QUARTER

04/12/2004 ~ Sabrina Hall, Customer Services Staff Assistant, has been named Keys Energy Services’ (KEYS) Outstanding Employee of the Second Quarter for 2004.

Hall has worked for the utility for four years and has worked within the Customer Services department throughout her tenure. She began as a Customer Services Representative and was promoted six months later to her current position. She is responsible for providing support to all staff members dealing with day to day work and assisting the Customer Services Director and Supervisor, among other numerous job duties.

Alex Tejeda, Customer Services Director, said Hall is, “the happiest person you will meet, she is always willing to help anyone at anytime.” Tejeda added that Hall is a great listener and is able, “to bring a smile to the face of any customer.”

Hall says she enjoys her job because of the constant interactions with co-workers and customers, and considers working at KEYS a blessing. She added that “KEYS always has room for advancement and we have many opportunities to better ourselves as individuals and as a company.”

The Employee of the Quarter Committee selects an employee four times a year for this award. Employees are considered for the award after being nominated by their peers or supervisors. Final selection of the outstanding employee is based on seven criteria, which include attendance, attitude, efficiency, initiative, and job performance.

Heather Arencibia, chairperson of the Employee of the Quarter Committee, said that Hall came highly recommended from her supervisor, director, and fellow employees throughout KEYS because of her efficiency, willingness to help other – both here and in the community, and her friendly disposition.

Hall was born and raised in Key West and graduated from Key West High School in 1991. She and her husband Eric have two children, Dejannae, 10, and Eric Jr., 4. In her spare time, Hall enjoys spending time with her family, husband, and children.

The Utility Board will recognize Hall as the Outstanding Employee of the Second Quarter for 2004 and present her with a $100 bonus during their regular meeting on April 14th. Her name will be engraved on a plaque that hangs in the William Arnold Service Building lobby, and she will receive an extra day off.
