02/01/2006 ~ On Wednesday, February 1st, Charles A. Bradford, Jr. was sworn into office by Key West City Clerk Cheryl Smith to fill the Group Five seat left vacant by the passing of Mr. Leonard Knowles.

The Utility Board of the City of Key West appointed Bradford at their regular meeting on Wednesday, January 25th.

Bradford, a 26-year resident of Key West, has worked in the Banking and Finance industry for the past 30-years – he is currently the vice president of Keys Federal Credit Union. Bradford is also a member of various civic organizations and governmental task forces, including the City of Key West’s Port Advisory Board and Workforce Housing Committee, and the Key West Chamber of Commerce. Prior to his appointment to the Board, Bradford was also a member of Keys Energy Services’ (KEYS) Advisory Committee representing District One (Key West to Stock Island).
