10/05/2007 ~ On Friday, October 5th, Utility Board members Mona C. Clark and Charles A. Bradford, Jr. were sworn in to office by Key West City Clerk Cheryl Smith on the steps of Key West City Hall. Clark and Bradford were re-elected to fill the Group Four & Five seats, respectively, on the Utility Board.

Clark was first appointed to the Board in 2004 to fill the Group Four seat left vacant by the passing of Dr. Otha P. Cox. By virtue of her appointment, Clark became the first female Board member in the Utility’s history. A native Conch and 50-plus year Key West resident, Clark has worked for the Monroe County School District for over 30-years, serving as a teacher and administrator – she is currently the Assistant Principal at Glynn Archer and Sigsbee Elementary schools.

Bradford was first appointed to the Board in 2006 to fill the Group Five seat left vacant by the passing of Mr. Leonard Knowles. A Key West resident since 1980, Bradford has worked in the Banking and Finance industry for the past 30-years – he is currently the vice president of Keys Federal Credit Union
