02/15/2008 ~ Michael Domenech has been named Keys Energy Services’ (KEYS) Outstanding Employee of the First Quarter for 2008.
Domenech has worked for the Utility for over 14 years and currently serves as a Lineman within KEYS’ Transmission and Distribution department.
Domenech says he enjoys, “keeping the power on and the customers happy.”
Domenech was born and raised in Key West and is a graduate of Key West High School. He lives in Sugarloaf with his wife Debbie and five-year old daughter Jenna. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family and boating.
The Employee of the Quarter Committee selects an employee four times a year for this award. Employees are considered for the award after being nominated by their peers and/or supervisors. Final selection of the outstanding employee is based on several factors, which include attendance, attitude, efficiency, initiative, and job performance, among others.
The Utility Board recognized Domenech as the Outstanding Employee of the First Quarter for 2008 during their regular meeting on Wednesday, February 13th. His name was engraved on a perpetual plaque that hangs in the William Arnold Service Building lobby, and he received a $250 bonus and an extra day off.
