09/27/2010 ~ Keys Energy Services’ (KEYS) web site,, recently unveiled a new look and expanded features designed to improve usability. Simplified navigational tools, new fonts, and updated graphics and layouts will help KEYS’ customers access information more quickly and easily.

Visitors to the site will find that the Growing Greener Every Day, Status of Power in Your Neighborhood, and View Your Account & Pay Your Bill links were moved to the left hand side of the screen, along with consolidated links and drop-down menus for Payment Options, Customer Service Requests, Customer Resources, and Career Opportunities.

General KEYS’ information can be found in the top right quadrant of the home screen, including links for Residential and Commercial service, as well as electronic copies of KEYS’ Forms for various service requests. Additional features included direct links from the home page to KEYS’ Telelink and KEYS Cares programs, as well as links to KEYS’ social media network.

“Recent enhancements further improve and simplify our website,” said Lynne Tejeda, KEYS’ General Manager & CEO. She added that, “the redesign is intended to ensure that remains effective, interactive, and user-friendly to our customers.”

The utility first launched its website in the mid-1990s, with major redesigns taking place in 2002 to coincide with its name change from City Electric System to KEYS and again in 2004 to accommodate expanded website offerings.
