KEYS DONATES $1K TO KWHS OPERATION GRADUATION AND PROVIDES IN-KIND SERVICE TO HELP CONTINUE SCHOOL TRADITION

05/25/2012 ~ Keys Energy Services’ (KEYS) recently donated $1,000 to Key West High School’s (KWHS) annual Operation Graduation program to provide a safe party alternative to seniors after the graduation ceremony on June 8th. KEYS made the donation via its Community Sponsorship fund which annually provides $10,000 in sponsorships to local
non-profit organizations.

“KEYS has been a long-time supporter of the Operation Graduation program, and we are pleased to once again help offer a safe alternative to graduating seniors with which to celebrate their achievements,” said Lynne Tejeda, KEYS’ General Manager & CEO.

KEYS will also provide in-kind service assistance to KWHS by providing Poinciana flower trimmings to be used to line the field of Tommy Roberts Memorial Stadium for the graduation ceremony. Given recent budget cuts, the Monroe County School District no longer has the staffing required to perform this task. KEYS tree trimming crews will now help with this service in order to continue the tradition of having graduates enter the field via a Poinciana flower lined path.
