KEYS CUSTOMER SERVICES DEPARTMENT RELOCATING EFFECTIVE DECEMBER 8TH; PAVING WAY FOR SERVICE BUILDING RENOVATIONS

11/17/2014 ~ Keys Energy Services’ (KEYS) Customer Services department will be relocating to temporary facilities at 927 Eaton Street on Monday, December 8th, in preparation for upcoming renovations to KEYS’ Service Building.

The Customer Services department will close to customers at 1001 James Street at noon on Friday, December 5th, to accommodate the move. The department will re-open at 927 Eaton Street at 10:00A on Monday, December 8th. After December 8th, KEYS’ Customer Service hours of operation will return to 8:00A – 5:00P on Monday through Friday, except for Wednesday when hours of operation are 9:00A – 5:00P.

“The proximity of our temporary Customer Service Center to our current facility should make for a seamless transition to our customers,” said Lynne Tejeda, KEYS’ General Manager & CEO. She added that, “our remaining departments will relocate to temporary facilities at our Stock Island Generation Facility throughout the month of December and renovations will commence in January to upgrade our Service Building to a hurricane Catergory-5 structure.”

The Utility Board is scheduled to approve the Service Building construction work order during their regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, November 19th. The project guaranteed maximum price is $6.25-million. Renovations are scheduled to be complete in mid 2016.
